コース内容: The transitional D.P.T. program is designed for practicing physical therapists already holding a bachelors or masters degree who wish to enhance their skills and professional status. The length of each student’s plan of study depends upon their current level of education, experience, and skills as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association’s “Normative Model of Physical Therapist Professional Education, Version 2000” and an evaluation using the Physical Therapist Evaluation Tool (PTET) credential review. A ten course, 22-credit plan of study is available for recent U.S. graduates holding a masters degree. All curriculum plans of study include pharmacology, radiology, evidence-based practice, wellness, and gender healthcare. Programs are also available for non-U.S. trained physical therapists seeking the D.P.T. or initial licensure.

入学条件: Bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited college or university. Non-US educated physical therapists must submit baccalaureate equivalency from an approved educational credentialing agency. Licensure as a physical therapist in one of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico. Minimum physical therapy professional program grade point average of 2.70 (on a 4.0 scale). Official sealed transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. (If required) Completed Physical Therapist Evaluation Tool (PTET) credential evaluation forwarded to Credentialing Services Inc.

願書について: Applicants are required to submit official profile scores from the Evaluation of Practicing Audiologists Capabilities (EPAC). An official report of EPAC results must be forwarded to the Admissions Processing Center from the EPAC evaluator’s office. For an EPAC application or profile of results, contact Credentialing Services at 309.343.1202. Applicants must secure two references from audiologists or healthcare professionals familiar with the applicant’s clinical and professional experience. Letters of reference must be submitted for each application year. Applicants must submit a personal resume following the guidelines offered in the application packet. Applicants who are considered potential candidates are required to interview by phone. Applicants who wish to be considered for more than one program must submit a separate application fee and application packet. Application materials are not transferable to another ASHS program. Acceptance to ASHS is to a specific program and is not transferable to any other program. If an applicant is not granted admission, upon consideration of a completed application file, new materials and fees must be submitted in order to reapply at a later date and to demonstrate additional qualifications. Applicants are required to submit all official college or academic transcripts.
