I had a good experience in a different environment.

I did not give any exams. There were a few questions tobe answered and curriculum vitae that needed to be uploaded as part of the process. I need a visa. The interview was easy. Getting tickets was easy. I came by American Airlines. It was good. They did not offer any student fare. I landed in Champaign International Airport. It is very close. They allowed 23kgs and excess baggage was allowed. They did not provide any Meet and Greet service.

This program is structured well. The Professors were excellent. The research environment was better than expected. It was a great experience. I stayed in a studio, subleased from a university student for the summer. There were weekly seminars and interactive sessions. I had access to the library.

The infrastructure and the sports facilities were excellent. The Social Scene was good and the night life was good. The weather was sunny, warm and it varied a lot.

In general, if you are getting paid by the hour in USA, take a lot of lot of cash with you as payment may get delayed.
