Hi! I am Chandran from India. Having completed my bachelors in India at IIT Madras in the field of Mechanical Engineering I came over to the US to do my masters and then went on to complete my D.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering at the Washington University. The facilities offered at the university are awesome and the atmosphere is very conducive for research.

I worked as a Research Associate at the university.

I specialized in the fields of Fluid Mechanics, Hemodynamics and Cardiovascular Biomechanics. My thesis was titled Mechanical Effects of Curvature on Pulsatile Flow in Elastic Tubes.

I had the opportunity to publish Abstracts, Reports, Papers and Book Chapters while at the university. It was a very productive period for me.

I am currently working as a Professor at the College of Engineering, University of Iowa.
