I am enjoying my university to the fullest.It is a really nice experience for me.The interactive and flexible way of studies here is so much better and makes studies a lot more fun.The campus is awesome and has all the facilities required for studies,sports and other activities.The new Marshal Center(common activity area like conference halls,theater,study rooms,ballroom etc) is as huge as a mall.The campus is definitely great.USF is better than what its ranking says.

It was pretty easy for me to get admission.I gave GRE and toffel and applied to USF and after receiving I-20 i applied for visa.The visa process was not painful at all.I did not have any assistantships when i came here but i got one in my first semester itself.The selection process was not very stringent for MSEE but i have friends in other departments and i guess it varies for every department.

When i came here in 2007 there were scholarships/funding for PHD students but not much for masters in my department.I was referred by one of my friends who graduated from same school here.To get a financial aid one must start contacting the professors of your department as soon as you get admission and also keep looking for assistantships in other departments.

The courses in Electrical Engineering was really interesting and has so many options.Usually we had 3 hours for each course in a week,so it depends on number of courses you take.the lecturers and tutors are really helpful.They are flexible and ready to discuss your doubts every time.

The campus is really huge and has all the facilities needed.the city(Tampa) is one of the best places in USA to stay in.People are really nice and friendly here.There are so many things you can do here.And having fun on beaches is one of them.The accommodation is pretty fine as compared to other places.The student union is good.There are lots of events going on all through out the year on campus.There is a international student organization which helps international student in many ways.
