Students coming abroad should be clear whether they really aspire to study or is it just another escape route to bid time.

I wrote GRE as well as TOEFL and I prepared for these myself (Barrons kaplan test series). I used counsellor for my application process (private). My visa interview was strenuous as they were not convinced whether will I come back to India or not but finally I managed. I flew by AIR INDIA that is from Delhi to state college airport via, Newyork. My baggage was under the limit although a student offer was available. I did not face any immigration issues at the airport.

I have university funding, so there is nothing much to worry apart from performing and achieving my goals.

I was very happy with my program structure and professors.

Placements are good although I am not worried about them as it will be 2 years by the time I pass out so the focus is on studying and doing well rather than cribbing about something which anyways is not in our hands.
