Portland maintains high standards of excellence in research, teaching and outreach programs. I did my Masters in EE with majors in Digital Signal Processing. Digital signal processing plays a significant role in Telecommunications...which has very good prospects.

On completing my UG I'd worked for about 15 months before applying for my Masters. Thus I was able to show some good work experience. No problems in getting the visa. All the best to all VISA aspirants!

My parents paid for my education.

Telecommunications industry is booming in India, and it has shown great promise and prospect in future, especially in the next 10-20 years. Numerous openings will be made available for graduates.
