I wanted to specialise in DBMS in my Masters degree. I'd applied to 6 universities and got admits from all 6. But I had communicated with 3 professors in UNT who were conducting research in my field of interest and got a favorable response from them, they also promised to help me out. This made me select UNT.

My GRE was 1210 and TOEFL was 273 at the time of applying for the visa. I also had an aggregate of 71% without backlogs in my UG. The fact that u dont have backlogs always impresses the VOs. All the best.

The course fit into my background and my area of specialization quite well. Studying abroad has been a great experience!
