Biotech is a vast subject and I wanted to specialise in the pharmaceutical sector of Biotech, which is offered only inthe US, whereas India focuses mainly on the Agricultutral sector of Biotech. The facilities at the university were topnotch, I was basically taken up by the internship they offered. Anyway, it was a pretty good prog.

I found my visa interview to be really smooth. My scores were GRE: 1900 (600 + 730 + 570) (v+q+a), TOEFL: 263(CBT) and my ACADS were 80.5 %. I think that my academic score really did the trick especially when I told the VO that I was ranked 5th in a class of 37. I think that its OK if you blow your trumpet sometimes!!!...it works. I also feel that the key is CONFIDENCE n li'll bit of preparation (abt ur course n univ).

My parents sponsored my education.

Ample opportunities to work as a R& D (Research n development) professional in one of the reputed pharmaceutical industries.
