Hi ! I completed my research program in Physics from the University of Massachusetts. I am proud to be an alumni of aninstitution which is rated among the best universities in the world by the Times of London. My experience abroad has been really good and I would recommend my university and department to other Indian students.

You will have to give the usual exams like GRE, TOEFL etc. My Visa interview was very smooth—no issues.

I was always very interested in Physics particularly nanoscale phenomena where Quantum Physics becomes very dominant. At the University of Massachusetts, one of the largest research universities in the United States, both research and graduate students play an important role in the cutting-edge research underway. This would be an issue which I would advise all Indian students to consider. Apply to institutions which are engaged in research similar to your background.
