Boston College was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1863. The total enrollment at the university is around 14,400. Chestnut Hill Campus, Newton Campus and Weston Observatory are the 3 campuses of the university. The different colleges of Boston—College of Arts and Sciences, Carroll School of Management, Lynch School of Education, Connell School of Nursing, Graduate School of Social Work, Law School and Woods College of Advancing Studies—offer various study programs. Under Graduate, Graduate and Doctoral degrees are awarded by the university. On campus accommodation is offered by the college.
