Dartmouth College, a private institution and a member of the Ivy League, was formed in 1769 and is based in Hanover, New Hampshire. The college offers undergraduate, graduate and interdisciplinary programs and has over 5,700 students enrolled in its various academic programs. The programs offered by the college are housed in different departments: Undergraduate Arts and Sciences, Arts and Sciences Graduate Programs, Dartmouth Medical School, Thayer School of Engineering and Tuck School of Business. Undergraduate, graduate and doctoral degrees are awarded by the institution.
