Macomb Community College, founded in 1954, has an annual student enrolment of more than 43,000 in addition to 5,000 more students at the Macomb University Center. Students can earn their master’s and bachelor’s degrees in nearly 50 fields at the Macomb University Center. The College offers nearly 200 degree and certificate programs apart from a host of pre-college programs. The College's four campuses are located in the north eastern area of Metropolitan Detroit. At these campuses, students can pursue courses in a range of subjects including accounting, astronomy, IT, law enforcement, journalism, marketing, languages, music, speech, surgical technology and theatre arts.
