McDaniel College is a private institution, founded in 1867 as the Western Maryland College. It is located in Westminster, Maryland and enrols about 1,700 students. It offers over 60 programs of study in the undergraduate, graduate, professional and honors degrees. Programs are offered in the fields of history, education, communication, military science and the like. Besides, seven pre-professional programs in areas of pre-law, pre-engineering, pre-medical and health professions are conducted. The college also offers off-campus programs of study in places like Hungary.
