Founded in 1800, Middlebury College is a liberal arts college located in Middlebury, Vermont. It is a private college that enrolls about 2,350 undergraduate students. It offers more than 850 courses in 44 majors in the Arts, Humanities, Interdisciplinary Programs, Literature, Foreign Languages, Social Sciences and Natural Science. Each summer in the Middleburys Bread Loaf campus the Bread Loaf English School is in session and the main campus is turned into an institution devoted to the study of 10 languages.
