Murray State University was founded in 1922 and is located in Murray, Kentucky. It is a public institution serving over 10,000 students. The University has 6 colleges, viz., College of Business and Public Affairs, College of Health and Human Services, College of Education, College of Humanities and Fine Arts, College of Science, Engineering and Technology, and Department of Military Science. It offers graduate, undergraduate and honors programs in over 80 disciplines such as Geosciences, Mass Communication, Music Education, Secondary and Special Education, Mathematics, Economics and the like.
