Established in 1889, Texas A & M University - Commerce is a publicly-funded institution that is part of the Texas A & M University system. The University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees through the College of Arts & Sciences, College of Business & Technology and the College of Education & Human Services. The University has its main campus in Commerce, Texas with branches in Corsicana, Mesquite, Midlothian and Dallas. The University has a student body of 5,000 undergraduates and 3,000 graduates.
