The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences is a public institution which was established in 1972 and is located in Bethesda, Maryland. The School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Nursing offer the various academic programs in the university. PhD degrees are offered in Emerging Infectious Diseases, Medical and Clinical Psychology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Neuroscience, Pathology and Preventive Medicine and Biometrics. The university also offers masters degree programs in Comparative Medicine, Military Medical History, Public Health and Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
