The University of Texas At Arlington was founded in 1895 as a private liberal arts institution, in Arlington, Texas. The university has a current enrollment of nearly 25,000 students. It offers bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in an extensive range of disciplines. The university contains 11 colleges and schools, each having different programs. These are: Business Administration, Education, Engineering, Liberal Arts, Science, Honors College, Architecture, Graduate School, Nursing, Social Work, Urban and Public Affairs and Department of Military Science.
