Western Washington University or Western was established in 1893 as the New Whatcom Normal School. It enrolls around 13,700 students and is located in Bellingham, Washington. Western offers bachelors degrees and masters degrees in Arts, Science, Education, Business Administration, Music and Teaching. The university is composed of the College of Business and Economics, Fairhaven College, College of Fine and Performing Arts, College of Humanities and Social Science, Huxley College of Environment, College of Sciences and Technology, Woodring College of Education and Graduate School.
